Collaborative performance Skein will be performed at the Jersey Opera House Studio on Friday 12th January 2018 at 8pm.
An experimental performance uniting sound and movement, skin and cloth supported by ArtHouse Jersey. Skein explores the boundaries of subjectivity through both the individual and collective experience of the body and the dynamic and physical experiences of these relationships, questioning the idea of skin as a boundary which separates us from the world and from others.
Skein is being developed as part of a collaboration between four artists: dancer Alys Hughes, visual artists Karen Le Roy Harris and Miriam Sedacca, and visual and sound artist Lola de la Mata.
